It's About Families Community Development, Inc., has concentrated on improving the community one family at a time. Our mission is to love, serve, and build our community through services and meeting the needs of families. Our operating warehouse is in Grovetown Georga where we endeavor to restore the families to a wholistic place through education, and empowerment. It's about Families' greatest endeavor is to serve as a support for family health for all families regardless to their background and structure.
Our Story
It's About Families started as a free annual community event in 2012 at Liberty Park in Grovetown, Georgia, serving more than 2000 families with fun, food, and fellowship. As time progressed, we saw the community in need of gang intervention, teen mentorship, and food challenges. After eight years of serving the CSRA with food, teen mentorship, free marital counseling, teacher care packages, back-to-school supplies, and much more, we formally established our Community Development Corporation in 2020. Since the official formation of It's About Family Inc., we've fed more than 200,000 people in the CSRA, provided more than 1,800 students with back-to-school supplies, and given scholarships to local college students. We plan to expand our touch and provide a hands on opportunity to anyone desiring to love, serve, and build their community.
